About Me	About Me My site originally started life in the UK as FoxPaw.co.uk offering a variety of online tarot readings. I was living then on the South coast of England with my husband and young son. As usual, things change, and we decided as a family to move to Canada to begin a new life together, so the site had to go on the back burner for a while. We now live in rural Alberta, just west of Edmonton, and are simply reveling in the space, beauty and culture that make up this province and this country. With husband and son now safely ensconced in new job and school, respectively, I felt it was time to revive my site and incorporate my Reiki Practice. In terms of background, I believe my journey has been similar to a lot of Holistic/Psychic Practitioners. After experiencing a childhood and teenage years interspersed with “unexplained” occurrences, vivid dreams and visits from “imaginery friends”, I rejected my “psychic self” in my 20s mainly due to my own fear and ignorance. This followed a series of particularly strong incidents which I now recognize to be the proof of my clairaudient and clairvoyant skills – and of my Spirit Guide starting to make himself felt! I maintained my interest in the Holistic world: continuing to read books on mediumship, healing and colour therapy; taking short courses in reflexology, aromatherapy, Tarot and meditation; and pursuing a fascination with the paranormal. However, my previous experiences had left me shaken and worried. I turned my back for the next few years and channeled my energies into following a career in computing and starting a family. However, as frequently happens, after a period of illness following the birth of my son, I became aware that “things” were happening again. This time, with the help of several gifted UK psychics and healers, I conquered my nerves and over the next few years undertook further training in mediumship, meditation, psychometry, Tarot, Angel Healing and Reiki. Although I still practice all, I am passionate about 2 of these: Tarot as a creative and personal developmental tool, and Reiki for healing and for life! Although trained in traditional Tarot, I use mainly intuition and clairvoyance to interpret the cards during readings. I am also developing courses to teach Tarot using creative and intuitive techniques. In addition, I am a student of both the Western Usui and Japanese traditions of Reiki to Master/Teacher level and am also attuned at first degree level to Siechem techniques including the Violet Flame and Psychic Surgery methods. HappyLittleFox is so named as a tribute to my life’s totem, the Red Fox – he has continually inspired, encouraged and guided me in all areas of my life (even when I didn’t know he was there!).
